Privacy Policy for Gify

Overview

Gify is an iOS app that turns sprite sheets into animated GIFs. This Privacy Policy explains how Gify handles information when you use the App.

No Deepoke Account, Advertising, or Tracking

Gify does not require a Deepoke account or sign-in. It does not include advertising, behavioral profiling, third-party analytics, or tracking SDKs. Installing Gify through TestFlight or the App Store may require an Apple Account under Apple’s own terms.

On-Device Processing

Sprite sheets you import are sliced, composed, and encoded into GIFs entirely on your device. Gify does not upload your images or generated GIFs to a Deepoke server or any third-party service, and it does not keep a cloud copy of your content. Sample assets offered in the Inspiration gallery are bundled with the App and do not require a network connection.

Photo Library and File Access

Gify requests access to your photo library or files only when you choose a sprite sheet to import or choose where to save a generated GIF. It reads the selected image solely to compose the GIF and writes results only where you direct, such as your photo library. Gify does not scan your library in the background, recognize faces, or upload your images.

Local App Data

Generated GIFs and the Recent history shown in the App are stored in the App’s local container on your device, and in your photo library when you save them there. Removing an entry in Gify, or uninstalling the App, deletes the App’s local data, subject to Apple’s backup and restoration behavior.

Data Retention and Deletion

Your sprite sheets and generated GIFs remain on your device until you delete them in the App, in your photo library, or by uninstalling the App. Gify does not operate a cloud store, so there is no separate cloud copy to delete. Copies that you deliberately share or include in an operating-system backup are controlled by the destination or backup service you choose.

Third-Party Services

Gify relies on Apple system services such as Photos, Files, and TestFlight or App Store distribution. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy practices. Gify does not use third-party advertising or analytics services.

Children’s Privacy

Gify does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The App has no account system and does not use your images or generated GIFs for advertising or profiling.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when Gify’s data practices change or when clarification is needed. The version, effective date, and updated date shown at the top of this page identify the applicable version.

Terms of Use

Use of Gify is also subject to Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
